Urgent review of funding needed

Funding for community pharmacy needs to be reviewed urgently, Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee chief executive Sue Sharpe has warned. Commenting on the Government's proposed changes to the UK Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme — currently open for consultation by the Department of Health — Mrs Sharpe referred to "substantial flaws in the present funding arrangements for community pharmacy contractors".
