Responsibility for the professional discipline of pharmacists has now passed from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Statutory Committee to its new Disciplinary Committee.The Statutory Committee,which was established under the Pharmacy Act 1933,held its final meeting on 13 December 2007.Its chairman,Lord Fraser of Carmyllie,subsequently tendered his resignation to the Privy Council.
