Once again the Department of Health wants to give powers to primary care trusts to admonish individual pharmacists in England if they fail to provide services of a sufficient quality. This suggestion has emerged in the White Paper consultation that was launched last week and has been rather less than warmly greeted by the Company Chemists'Association, the Association of Independent.Multiple Pharmacies and the National Pharmacy Association (p253).
