During the 72nd Plenary Meeting, the ICAC received a report from its Expert Panel on the Social, Environmental and Economic Performance of Cotton Production (SEEP), "Measuring sustainability in cotton farming systems: Towards a guidance framework." SEEP provided recommendations about the indicators that should be used to measure sustainability in cotton production. The recommended indicators cover the three pillars of sustainability: social,environmental, and economic.
