A 58-year-old woman presented with intermittent right flank pain and fatigue 1 year in duration. Symptoms had worsened and were particularly bothersome during the preceding few months. The pain was not altered by change in position or consumption of food. Evaluation included contrast enhanced abdominal computerized tomography (CT) which demonstrated a solitary right renal artery with multiple branches into a complex venous drainage system (fig. 1). The renal artery and vein enhanced with contrast during the arterial phase of the scan.
