New York City is a nice town - you wouldn't want to film a remake of "The Sons of Katie Elder" here - but most folks probably don't care much about Lick Creek, WV. Neither do they in Washington, DC, the nation's capital, or so it seems. I'm not sure you can much blame the denizens of the Big Apple as they run around in their black skirts and Yankees caps. After all, they read the New York Times. DC residents might have more to answer for - the Washington Post fact-checks, now and then.
