Shenhua Group, China’s largest coal producer,has again cut its thermal coal prices for long-term customers,this time by Yuan 10/mt, sources in the Chinese market toldFenwei Energy on Monday.Long-term contract prices for Shenhua’s 5,500 kcal/kg and5,000 kcal/kg NAR Shanxi coal are now Yuan 475/mt ($77.24/mt) and Yuan 415/mt, respectively, on a Qinhuangdao FOBbasis inclusive of 17% VAT, several utilities said.
