Polish hard coal miner Lubelski WegielBogdanka said Thursday it produced 2.24 million mt ofcoal in the first quarter, up 10.2% year on year and 6.2%quarter on quarter.“The difficult geological conditions we had in the fourthquarter of 2013 on the wall coal seam 382 are already behindus, but the parameters of the deposit in the Stefanow walllaunched in November 2013 are still lower than our initialassumptions,” CEO Zbigniew Stopa said.
