New Delhi - Indian buyers of thermal coal continue to exercise restraint in purchasing due to further price falls in the seaborne market, participants told Platts Friday. There are inquiries for low cv coal but buyers are not ready to commit yet as they think prices will fall further, a New Delhi-based participant said. According to participants, most inquiries are for 3,800 kcal/kg GAR coal and 4,200 kcal/kg GAR coal.
