European low density polyethylene spot prices showed a significant increase this week, as sources reported availability continuing to tighten amid strong demand. Prices were assessed at Eur1,380/mt Wednesday, rising Eur30/mt on the week to a high not seen since the end of August. “The rate of increase is not weakening now we are over the beginning of month resistance,” a producer source said.
