Northwest European ethylene dichloride maintained strength on week to be assessed at $260/mt FOB NWE Thursday. Trade sources reported the market as quiet this week, yet expectation of a bullish market developing began to occur. Sources said the expectation that feedstock ethylene costs were to increase in March would begin to add price pressure to EDC in the coming two weeks. The expectation of higher feedstock costs comes amid recent gains in upstream Naphtha.
