Import pricing for polyvinyl chloride rose this week in markets along the West Coast of South America as participants continued to talk of limited availability from the US and other regions, sources said. In Peru, PVC on a CFR basis rose $35/mt week to week to $840-$850/mt, amid continued talk of low inventories from key markets and traders struggling to get their hands on material. Market participants indicated US producers might be limiting output.
