US spot ethylene prices dipped throughout the week following improved operations at Texas-based producers. Spot was assessed Friday at 21.75-22.25 cents/lb FD USG for November, down 1 cent/lb week on week, and at 22.25-22.75 cents/lb FD USG for December, down 1.25 cents for the week. The production impact from stormy weather along the US Gulf Coast last week has been wearing off, pushing run rates higher and leading to ample supply, sources said.
