Northwest European polyvinyl chloride net contract prices were assessed at Eur675/mt FD NWE. The price, flat on the week, represents a Eur10/mt decline from January despite buyers heard targeting reductions of up to Eur35/ mt at the beginning of the month. Recent gains in the ethylene feedstock naphtha have brought bullish pressure. Naphtha stood at $413.25/mt CIF NWE when ethylene last settled January 28; by contrast, it was assessed at $512.5/mt Tuesday.
