The US acrylonitrile export assessment was stable week over week at a 5 1/2-year low of $1,370/mt FOB USG, as demand was heard improving slightly. The assessment remained at its lowest level since September 1, 2009, when it was at $1,355/mt FOB USG, according to Platts data. The current price level was encouraging buyers to purchase material, a trader source said.
