The propylene market in Latin America remains stable week on week, sources said. This week, a volume of 5,642-mt propylene from Aratu, Brazil, was reported in Altamira Port,Mexico. In Mexico, propylene production and demand remained unchanged, a source with Pemex said. “Our plants are working without alterations.” The Pemex domestic prices were also flat. Chemical- grade propylene in the Mexican domestic market was heard at $1,501 /mt delivered basis.
