US spot refinery-grade propylene slipped a half-cent week on week, assessed Friday at 61.75-62.25 cents/lb delivered as the decline in refinery operating rates failed to push inventories of propylene for non-fuel use lower. Stocks of propylene inventories for non-fuel use marked a gain of 34,000 barrels to 3.458 million barrels, while refinery operating rates declined 1.4 percentage points to 86% for the week ending on March 7, US Energy Information Administration data showed Wednesday.
