Market sources said that March US polyethylene terephthalate contracts could roll over from February levels. Contracts had not been settled Friday, with February contracts assessed at 81.75-82.75 cents/ lb ($1,802-1,824/mt) US railcar. Feedstock pricing — the primary driver in recent settlements — had been heard finalized, with a slight decrease for US purified terephthalic acid and monoethylene glycol levels remaining consistent in March. Sources said there was some uptick in demand ahead of the spring/summer bottling season.
