Asian linear low density polyethylene prices fell this week amid the availability of cheap domestic cargoes in China. The CFR Far East Asia and CFR Southeast Asia markers fell $5/mt and $10/mt, respectively, to $1,405/mt and $1,445/ mt Wednesday, while the CFR South Asia marker was assessed at $1,460/mt CFR, down a sharper $40/mt over the same period. A Taiwanese trader was heard offering April shipment cargoes at $1,430/mt FOB Taiwan. A Middle Eastern producer offered April arrival cargoes at $1,420/ mt CFR China Tuesday with a letter of credit of 90 days.
