Asian propylene prices rose this week in a largely stable market. The FOB Korea and FOB Japan markers were assessed at $1,333/mt and $1,323/mt, respectively, Friday, up $8/mt week on week. The CFR China and CFR Taiwan markers also rose $8/mt over the same period to $1,398/mt and $1,388/ mt, respectively. Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy traded a H2 August loading cargo of 1,500 mt at $1,395/mt CFR East China Monday and an end August/early September arrival cargo of the same size at $1,393/mt CFR East China Wednesday. A Japanese trader sold a H1 September arrival cargo at $1,395/mt CFR China Wednesday.
