Trading sources in Europe maintained that offer levels comfortably above $300/mt would be firm in March due to the increase in value of ethylene and the expectation of higher price levels coming through on PVC. Some domestic buy interest was heard, but not confirmed for April, and sources said due to the tight margin situation for resin makers, the $300/mt mark would be challenged by buyers.
