The Brazilian linear low density polyethylene price was assessed at $1,650-$1,660/mt CFR Brazil, an increase of $15/mt week on week on increasing US-origin offers. US-origin offers were heard in the range of $1,665-$1,670/mt CFR Brazil while offers from the Middle East were heard in the range of $1,700-$1,720/mt CFR Brazil. Several bids were heard at $1,640/mt CFR Brazil for 500 mt. "In Brazil, production levels are quite high and not appearing to slow", said one market participant.
