EDC: Asian ethylene dichloride prices inched up $2/mt from last Thursday to be assessed at $232/mt CFR Far East Asia and $232/mt CFR Southeast Asia Wednesday on firmer crude. The assessment was brought forward to Wednesday from Thursday this week as August 9 is a public holiday in Singapore. Bids were heard at $200- 220/mt CFR Far East Asia this week against offers at $270/mt. No deals were heard concluded. Sellers were heard to be very firm in their offers on the back of high feedstock costs.
