India's Petronet LNG speeds up Dahej expansion

India's leading LNG importer Petronet LNG said Monday it plans to speed up the expansion of its flagship Dahej terminal to meet additional demand as the government pushes the use of LNG for power and fertilizer plants. Managing director and CEO Prabhat Singh told a conference that the planned expansion of capacity at Dahej by 5 million mt/year to 15 million mt/year had been brought forward to October 2016, from January 2017.
