Karachi -Pakistan, which imports about 70% of its domestic fuel requirements, is inching closer to start shipping in 92 RON gasoline for its local markets, moving away from RON 87 grade supplies, as the country steps up efforts to battle emissions. The country’s Economic Coordination Committee, chaired by finance minister Ishaq Dar, gave the go-ahead Thursday to the petroleum ministry to start importing 92 RON gasoline, a petroleum ministry official said.
