摘要

London—Germany’s Wintershall has agreed the sale of various non-operated oil and gas assets offshore Norway, as well as a stake in its operated Maria field, but said Thursday its production growth targets would not be affected by the sale. Wintershall has expanded significantly in Norway in recent years, with output from the country currently averaging some 60,000 b/d of oil equivalent. But despite having made the country a core focus, it has opted to offload some non-operated assets to Tellus Petroleum, a recently acquired subsidiary of Netherlands- registered Sequa Petroleum, for $602 million.
