US widens Russia sanctions to include Rosneft units

Moscow—The US on Wednesday added 29 entities to the existing list of sanctioned Russian individuals and companies, spreading the restrictions to several Rosneft-controlled assets in Russia and elsewhere. The new sanctions, imposed against Russia due to its role in the Ukraine crisis, will further restrict the ability of Rosneft and its subsidiaries to raise international financing.
