Croatia awards offshore exploration blocks

London—Croatia has granted 10 licenses to explore and produce hydrocarbons in the Adriatic Sea, the national hydrocarbon agency said Friday. The estimated value of investment plans in the exploration activities for which the companies were competing amounts to Kuna 4 billion ($621.4 million). Kuna 100 million will be paid directly to the state budget after signing the contracts, the agency said.
