Lagos—The restart of the 110,000 b/d Kaduna refinery last week completes the comeback of all four of the Nigerian state-owned refineries that were shut down for almost one year for maintenance. Kaduna was the last to resume operations after the three others—two refineries in Port Harcourt with a combined name plate capacity of 210,000 b/d and the 125,000 b/d Warri refinery—resumed operations in late July. The restarts are set to boost Nigeria’s domestic crude use.
