Sinopec raised refinery runs by 2.7% in H1

Singapore-China’s state-owned giant Sinopec said Tuesday it raised its refinery throughput by 2.66% year on year to 118.89 million mt (4.81 million b/d) in the first half of 2015. Sinopec said in March it plans to raise refinery throughput by 3.2% this year to 243 million mt. The company, Asia’s largest refiner, boosted gasoline and jet/kerosene output but cut diesel production in H1 2015 in keeping with the country’s current products consumption pattern.
