Iraqi oil exports hit new record in May

Amman-Iraq’s crude oil exports rose to an average of 3.145 million b/d in May, setting a record for the second consecutive month, mainly due to higher exports from the coun- try’s Persian Gulf terminals, the latest oil min- istry figures showed. Iraq shipped 2.694 million b/d from its southern terminals, up 67,000 b/d from the April average of 2.627 million b/d.
