Doha—Iran’s growing domestic demand for gas condensates make it unlikely the country will play a major role in the export market for the liquids in the next few years even if the West does ease its oil and gas sanctions, according to London-based consultants Facts Global Energy. By 2020, Iran could be producing 700- 750,000 b/d of condensate, regardless of whether sanctions on Iran’s oil and gas industry are lifted, FGE’s chairman Fereidun Fesharaki told a condensates forum in Doha on Monday.
