New York—NYMEX March crude settled near flat Thursday, down 2 cents at $100.35/barrel, and the rest of the complex mixed, in a light volume session as bearish US jobs data countered favorable demand figures. ICE March Brent settled 6 cents lower at $108.73/b. NYMEX March ULSD settled 1.82 cents higher at $3.0307/gal and March RBOB ended 1.41 cents higher at $2.7772/gal. “Many people [in the Northeast] seem to be avoiding the snow because the trading volume looks like a holiday,” said Carl Larry, president of Oil Outlooks.
