Quito—Ecuador’s October crude production averaged 542,192 b/d, 0.6% below October 2013 output, because of lower private foreign production, according to data published Tuesday by the non-renewable resources ministry’s hydrocarbons office. In October 2013, Ecuador produced an average 545,200 b/d, according to central bank data. In September 2014, output averaged 539,903 b/d, 0.4% below last month. State-owned Petroamazonas and its subsidiaries, including fields managed by private service providers, produced an average 428,932 b/d in October, 1% above the 424,691 b/d produced in September and 2.5% above the 418,500 b/d produced in October 2013.
