Slovakia eyes 120,000 b/d supply deal with Russia

Slovakia hopes to sign a new long-term agreement with Russia on supplies and transit of Russian crude by the end of the year, a spokeswoman for Slovakia’s economy ministry said Friday. An existing agreement, signed in 1999, will end on December 31. The new agreement is being prepared with a view to covering the period from January 1 until 2029, Miriam Ziakova told Platts in a written reply.
