NYMEX oil futures fall on dollar strength

New York—NYMEX September crude settled 15 cents lower at $104.55/barrel Monday, while RBOB sank on news of a refinery restart. August RBOB settled 3.19 cents lower at $3.0125/gal. August ULSD ended the session up 61 points at $3.0162/gal. In early trade, the resumption of operations at the Korean National Oil Corp’s Come By Chance refinery in Newfoundland weighed on RBOB futures. The contract had traded as low as $3.0087/gal.
