Strike hits Brazil’s off and onshore production

Brasilia—Production at 15 platforms in Brazil’s Campos Basin and at all 27 platforms offshore Rio Grande do Norte state has been halted or reduced by strike action, Brazilian oil workers union FUP said Thursday. Onshore fields in Rio Grande do Norte are also affected, it said. State-led Petrobras, operator of all the strike-hit platforms, did not directly address whether or not any production had indeed been halted.
