CNPC’s H1 overseas equity output rises 6.5%

Singapore—State-owned China National Petroleum Corp.’s overseas equity oil and gas production during the first half of this year rose 6.5% year-on-year to 26.94 million mt of oil equivalent, averaging 1.09 million barrels per day of oil equivalent. CNPC subsidiary China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corp. said in a statement Friday that gross production from overseas projects rose 8.5% year-on-year to 54.66 million mtoe during the period.
