UK's EnQuest flags output slip over Brent shutdown

London-UK North Sea-focused EnQuest could see its average oil and gas production slip for a second year running this year due mainly to unplanned shutdowns of the Brent oil pipeline system. Average production for 2013 is expected to be between 22,000 and 27,000 b/d of oil equivalent with some 1,000 boe/d already lost due to the shutdown of the Brent pipeline during the first quarter, the company said in an earnings statement.
