Trafigura agrees to buy South Sudan's Dar Blend

Cape Town-Trader Trafigura has signed an agreement to export Dar Blend crude oil from South Sudan, with first production of the crude set to resume imminently having been shut in since January 2012. Under the agreement, signed on March 7, Trafigura said the crude will be delivered via pipeline to Port Sudan for export, add- ing that production would commence "in the next few days."
