PTTEP plans share issue ahead of expansion

Bangkok—The board of Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production July 20 endorsed a plan to issue up to 650 million ordinary shares to fund its expansion plans, including the highprofile acquisition of UK-based Cove Energy. According to a PTTEP statement, 403.39 million new shares will be allotted to its parent company PTT, leaving 214.44 million for the general public and 3.32 million for overallotment.
