CPC eyes minority interest in Browse LNG

Singapore-State-owned CPC Corporation, Tai- wan's sole LNG importer, is in talks to acquire a minority stake in Woodside Petroleum's pro- posed Browse LNG project in Western Austra- lia, a company official said February 9. CPC could be interested in buying a stake of up to 10%, but no figure had been agreed on, and there was no time frame for any agreement, the official said.
