Russia's Gazprom sees record profits, sales in 2011

Moscow-Russia's gas giant Gazprom expects its net income to grow to a record $40 billion in 2011, up 25% from $32 billion the previ- ous year, the company said February 1. Buoyed by high gas export prices and increased production, Gazprom said it expects all its key financial parameters in 2011-net income, sales and EBITDA-to be the highest in the company's history. Sales are expected to have increased to $150 billion in 2011, up 27% from $118 billion in 2010, while EBITDA is expected to amount to around $60 billion, up 33% from $45 billion in 2010.
