Theiss JV wins contract for Wheatstone LNG tanks

Sydney-A joint venture between Thiess and EV LNG Australia has won a contract worth around A$500 million ($535 million) to build LNG and condensate storage tanks for the Chevron-operated Wheatstone project in West ern Australia, Theiss parent company Leighton Holdings said February 20. The EVT joint venture will be respon- sible for the engineering, procurement and construction of two LNG storage tanks with capacity of 150,000 cubic meters each and two condensate storage tanks with capacity of 120,000 cubic meters each.
