PetroChina’s Changqing crude output hits 440,000 b/d

Singapore—China’s onshore Changqing field breached the 60,000 mt (440,000 b/d) mark for daily crude oil output last month, with production hitting a record 60,070 mt on May 30, operator PetroChina said June 8. That means its annual crude production capacity this year will reach 22 million mt. Total oil and gas output capacity will be 45 million mt this year, rising to 50 million mt by next year, PetroChina said.
