Houston—US motorists pumped 60.625 million barrels of gasoline in the survey week ending October 26, down 0.1% from the prior week, MasterCard Advisors data released on October 30 shows. But, the 8.661 million b/d average last week is 1.3% less than the comparable survey week of 2011, the MasterCard SpendingPulse data also shows. On a four-week rolling average basis, US retail demand is down 2.4% from the comparable period last year.
