Gas storage inventories set new record highs across us

Houston-US natural gas storage stockpiles continued to set records nationwide and for ndividual regions during the week ended Jan- uary 13, according to the Energy Information Administration's report January 19. Overall stocks last week fell by 87 Bcf to 3.29 Tcf, the highest level on record for this time of year. Additionally, levels in the East, West and producing regions of some 1.693 Tcf, 433 Bcf and 1.164 Tcf, respectively, also busted through previous highs for the compa- rable period.
