LNGL secures extension on Fisherman’s Landing site

Singapore—The Gladstone Ports Corporation has extended Liquefied Natural Gas Limited’s lease on its site at Fisherman’s Landing in the eastern Australian city of Gladstone by an additional six months to June 2012, LNGL said December 13. LNGL is planning a mid-scale LNG project on the site. The latest agreement gives LNGL until June 30, 2012, to procure gas supplies for the 3 million mt/year LNG project, against a previous deadline of December 31, 2011.
