Dubai-Iran will produce 20 million liters/d of surplus gasoline for export in the next Iranian calendar year starting March 21, oil ministry news agency Shana reported March 14, as officials warned that some refinery expansion plans were running behind schedule. "Given that gasoline production capac- ity will increase to around 72 million liters per day and the fact that consumption has decreased to 52-53 million liters per day, the difference between production and consump- tion will be allocated for exports in the next [Iranian] year," deputy oil minister for oil prod- ucts, Alireza Zayghami, was quoted as saying.
