NYMEX crude off $1.08 as ‘stale length looks to exit’

New York—NYMEX January crude oil futures settled $1.08 lower at $93.87/b December 15 amid choppy trade as the Brent/WTI spread widened. January heating oil settled 74 points lower at $2.8225/gal and January RBOB fell 1.6 cents to settle at $2.4877/gal. ICE January Brent settled slightly higher at $105.09/b, up 7 cents. The price action widened the Brent/WTI spread to $11.22/b, from a previous settle of $10.07/b.
